lyrics

Platitude and Art

Beautiful and hard
Platitude and art
Satisfactory?
The lion’s lying in my arms
Claws hardly harm me
Complementary?
Home again
Don’t close the door
That’s what a house ain’t for
The house where we make love
And we make war
Balancing on what we are
The road ahead
The depth of our embrace
Will easily erase
All that’s been said
Words blur my head
That’s what love ain’t for
That’s what love ain’t for
That’s what love ain’t for
That’s what love ain’t for
That’s what love ain’t for
That’s what love ain’t for

Words blur my head
That’s what love ain’t for
That’s what love ain’t for
That’s what love ain’t for
That’s what love ain’t for
That’s what love ain’t for
That’s what love ain’t for
